This is a large paper collage that I made by painting sume paper with gouache paint, then arranging and gluing onto heavy white watercolor paper. The imagery is landscape and I chose to call this piece “wild cedar” as I wanted to reflect on the movement within the piece of individual forms and various textural marks.
