This collage is made with gouache, and pencil on sume paper that I glued to a stretched canvas. There is also a brushed gold gilt paper that has a quality of changing color depending on your viewing angle. It’s not a glittery gold. The glue and paper are highly textured on the canvas surface. I remember doing this piece as we were waiting through an exceptionally long cold spring here in NY. The bits of bright green and gold are a waking up- first signs of spring
